artmikyo: Everyday I learn something new...My work is mostly figurative although recently I have begun to experiment with landscape. In my paintings I like to stretch the boundaries of form and colour a little... Mostly I work in oil with brushes, but in many of my pictures I also occasionally use fingers, knives, kitchen paper and underlay (the kind used under wooden flooring). I favour a limited, bold colour palette and often return to particular colours again and again. I hope that you find something in my work...something that encourages a second glance and, if we are both lucky, delivers a memory that you will wish to revisit.
